(Annulled project) The Wereldwinkel ("World Store") is a non-profit organisation that sells Second and Third World products following the Fair Trade principle. There are several Wereldwinkels in Belgium and the Netherlands, each with its own management.
Wereldwinkel Maastricht approached me with a request to create a professional online presentation and a modern visual identity.
The proposed design shows a circle, representing a united world, and a very decorative capital W (Palm of Buddha by iLuv Color). The circle's white space can be left blank in case it's printed using only one colour or used to display products using full-colour, as shown here. It even provides an extra dimension when used for window display by showcasing products in the blank circle.
